The Classic Rupert Bear Shop is thrilled that we are now also Classic Rupert Bear Miniatures. These creations are those of the originator of this wonderful collection, Mr Colin Patten and Classic Rupert Bear Miniatures is now part of our Company.
Much work is ongoing to bring everything together and making arrangements for casting figures, painters to bring these delightful models to the public. Cast from pewter, these miniature hand painted figures are a treasure to own or to give as gifts to Ruperteers of all ages. We are delighted to have Michael Rothery of Helston (Cornishmikey Painting) as part of our team.
We are determined to keep the production of this collection and future figures yet to be seen, in the UK and will be proud to state that they are made in Great Britain.
Please take note - These figures are hobby items and are not classed as toys. They are therefore not suitable for very small children, whose desire may be to suck, chew or otherwise ingest our favourite friends. By all means buy these as gifts for them, but please warn the parent of guardian of the recipient, if that is not you, that they must not be eaten or otherwise abused! Our models are made from pewter, but they may or may not contain a small amount of lead, which, when added, aides in the flow processes of the molten metal and produces a model with finer detail.
